New Apple patent, very "exciting"

Success is the name of this new invention from Apple and that comes from the hands of the web Pantently Apple. The invention shows something like the concept and use another application that is not Apple. We refer to Bump , this great application that just shake your iPhone or Android two phones, both connect and securely exchange data (including from one to another without being two of the same operating system).

The patent shows a system for exchanging information, wirelessly and securely between two different devices that could be not only iPhone, but iPod, Macbooks, Blackberry, cameras and even medical equipment. Additionally, this technology would apply to a new type of Apple device classified as a bike computer, which could refer to the latest Apple patent for the bicycle smart.

Contrary to other wireless communication systems, in this case the communication would be established through some type of intervention or physical stimulation (such as a particular gesture in the device) to be repeated in the other device that would generate a secure key wireless transmission between the two. We could make a touch on the screen to two devices at once and in time it would take to establish communication be generated corresponding keys. It would also be prepared for something like what is now shaking Bump to detect devices or other types of "excitement" physical (hence the name of success, or exciter)

The communication could be established for almost any existing communication protocol, not only wireless but Bluetooth, any communication protocol or band of frequencies such as GSM or 3G, including protocols such as FTP, VoIP, BitTorrent or HTTP.

In the diagram above we can see several examples of the communication interface and the different items that are on our phone that we want to share. Not just contact information, but also photos, events and assume that almost any type of information that is capable of switching between terminals. It seems that what Apple has done has been taking a great idea Bump and try to go much further, applying it to almost any device. Technology may make open, as they did with Facetime to try everyone's use. Certainly a great way to exchange information between devices. Now we say, with irony and black humor that has made Apple a Bump Microsoft, or perhaps to be complete, you have to do an Oracle, or whatever it is, buy Bump, absorbing the company and its work. So large in USA working on many occasions.

Time will tell what else brings this patent.
