So with 20 days in advance, with this brief message and without anesthesia, the Andalusian has canceled the Free Software conference this year in Malaga .

This news, of course has not been received gladly among companies as they have now made some investments that can not be recovered.
Luckily, ASOLIF , the National Federation of Free Software Enterprises will hold its fourth meeting, not canceled and I leave your message here and links to sign up all interested parties.
We do not release: IV meeting of Software ASOLIF Free on October 28 in Malaga
The National Federation of Software Libre (ASOLIF) said their companies back in July of this year to celebrate our Fourth Meeting ASOLIF Business of Free Software by the Open Source World Conference ( OSWC'10 ) in so that both events take advantage of synergies. This conference, organized by the Andalusian Government would strengthen its commercial aspect to the presence of 75 of our companies, while ASOLIF would take the action to solve many of the logistical problems arising from such events. On paper it looked like a winning relationship.
The sudden cancellation of the event , only 20 days of its conclusion, has been a blow to companies, since much of the investment is recovered. Not only are the costs incurred in traveling and staying, but the work related to the preparation of the content to submit, commercial work, the merchandising, etc.. In short, to a large extent, a significant saving of public money involved in the failure to hold the OSWC'10 rests on the losses inflicted to the sector, especially SMEs.
Andalusian companies clumped around Andalibre and other entities and actors related to Free Software, deserve all the support we can offer from elsewhere in Spain by our organization. Taking the challenge to pick up the baton left by the Junta de Andalucía, the Federation will continue with its plan and will hold its Fourth Meeting ASOLIF Business of Free Software in Málaga on October 28.
Moreover, the usual activities of a domestic nature, we will add a public action broadcast on October 27 for displaying products and projects, discuss relevant issues on the industry today and interact with organizations, teachers, technicians, community development and Free Software enthusiasts. Soon announce the location and content.
Together they will be easier than solo, therefore, please join our public mailing list to assist us in this action. There will be room for everyone.
